Karen P. Lean
Karen has over 13 years of experience in the accounting field. Karen manages the Firm’s Small Business Services where she has been responsible for all accounting and tax reporting activities for monthly, quarterly and annual clients. Karen has accounting experience in the construction and manufacturing industry where she converted and implemented a fully integrated computerized accounting system using Timberline software and assisted in maintaining job cost records for hundreds of construction jobs. Karen is proficient in various computerized accounting systems including Quickbooks, Peachtree, and Timberline, and maintains the Firm’s accounting software.
Karen also participates in financial and compliance audit engagements for a wide variety of organizations. Karen is experienced in preparation, review, and research regarding a variety of federal and state tax returns, including income, sales, franchise and tangible and intangible tax returns. She completes and reviews income tax returns of not-for-profit organizations, corporations, S corporations, partnerships and individuals. Karen spent her childhood in Honduras and is fluently bilingual in Spanish.
