Jean S. Bias CPA MBA
Jean has over twenty years of experience providing auditing, tax and consulting services to a diverse group of organizations. Her audit clients included manufacturers, savings & loans, hospitals, and educational institutions. Jean was active in the early days of the charter school movement in Lakeland, and helped set-up the accounting systems for charter schools. She has provided bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, pension plan administration and compilation services for small-to-medium businesses. She has a solid understanding of governmental accounting and extensive experience with accounting software.
Jean also served as Adjunct Instructor of Accounting at the University of Toledo where she taught Accounting Principles, Survey of Accounting, and Financial Statement Analysis and advised undergraduate students. She also taught Accounting courses part-time at The Ohio State University and Florida Southern College. Jean has volunteered her time to assist elementary schools and various community organizations.
